The holidays are here, which means plenty of delicious and decadent treats! If you’re looking for something incredibly easy to make for a party or to give as a tasty gift, these 3 ingredient Oreo truffles are just the thing.
- 1 (16 oz.) package chocolate Oreo cookies
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 (8 oz.) packages semi-sweet baking or white chocolate, melted
Crush 9 Oreos to fine crumbs in food processor or in plastic bag with rolling pin and set aside for later use. Crush remaining 36 Oreos to fine crumbs and place in medium bowl.
Add cream cheese to Oreos in bowl and mix well until blended.
Roll cookie and cream cheese mixture into 42 balls (about 1″ in diameter).
Dip cookie balls in melted chocolate and place on wax paper covered baking sheet. Sprinkle with leftover Oreo crumbs or drizzle with extra chocolate.
Refrigerate until firm (about 1 hour). Store leftover truffles (if any!) covered in refrigerator.
*Low fat Oreos can be substituted for regular – you won’t notice the difference!
