Junction City’s Parade of Lights, Dec. 8 (Downtown Junction City)
Celebrate the holiday season in Downtown Junction City! This year’s parade theme is “Songs of Christmas”, with entries ranging from bikes, to horses, to a float with more than 28,000 lights.
Saturday Market’s Holiday Market, Dec. 9 – 10, 16 – 17, and 22 – 24 (Lane Events Center Exhibit Hall, Eugene)
Eugene’s Saturday Market moves indoors for the month of December! Stay cozy while shopping for handcrafted creations at more than 250 booths of your favorite local and regional vendors and artisans. The International Food Court will be there as well serving up favorites, and enjoy live music all day long on two stages. Visit every weekend thanks to free admission and parking.
Whiteaker Winter Market, Dec. 10 (Thinking Tree Spirits, Eugene)
This Sunday kicks off the first-annual Whiteaker Winter Market! Browse plenty of handmade crafts and goods including jewelry, fine art, books, herbal products, food, and high-quality spirits. This kid-friendly event will also feature live music, a photo booth, tarot readings, and face painting.
Christmas at the Village Green, every Thursday – Sunday through Dec. 17 (Village Green Resort, Cottage Grove)
Every year, this stunning hotel transforms into a winter wonderland, complete with 250,000+ Christmas lights, an artisan vendor market full of festive gifts, live music, delicious food and drinks (including German specialties like bratwurst and their famous gluhwein, a traditional German mulled wine served warm), and of course, Santa Claus. Overnight packages are available so you can stay at the hotel and explore their 14 acres of specialty gardens.
Eugene Symphony Cirque de la Symphonie, Dec. 17 (Hult Center, Eugene)
The Eugene Symphony brings you not only a treat for the ears, but the eyes as well as the orchestra teams up with aerial flyers, contortionists, jugglers, and dancers for amazing feats of acrobatics on (and above!) the stage set to music from The Nutcracker along with other Christmas favorites.
Santa and Snowfall at the Market, Santa every Friday – Sunday through Dec. 23, Snowfall every Friday and Saturday through Dec. 23 (5th St. Public Market, Eugene)
No matter the weather in Eugene, the forecast always calls for snow at the 5th St. Public Market every Friday and Saturday evening! Santa is also hanging around the Market during the weekends, so be sure to stop by for holiday photos. It’s also the perfect opportunity to catch up on some shopping at the Market’s dozens of unique stores.
