Cottage Grove Real Estate
A two-time winner of “The All-America City Award” from the National Civic League, Cottage Grove is located just twenty minutes south of Eugene – Springfield and is home to almost 10,000 residents. Cottage Grove has a rich history, including its Historic Downtown District, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
Gold was discovered in the Bohemia Mountains above Cottage Grove in the mid-1800s, and the area’s gold mining history still plays an important role in the community. The Bohemia Gold Mining Museum shares stories through photographs, tools, and other artifacts, while the Bohemia Mining Days festival celebrates the gold mining legacy with living history exhibits, vendors, local entertainers, and a parade.
Known as “The Covered Bridge Capital of the West”, Cottage Grove is home to six covered bridges that draw visitors from all over the country. Each bridge has its own unique story, including Chambers Railroad Bridge, which is the only existing covered railroad bridge west of the Mississippi River and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and Currin Bridge, which spans the Row River and is often used for weddings and special events.
Cottage Grove has been a backdrop in a number of movies over the years, including The General, Animal House, and Stand By Me.
This being our third home purchased, Bill will forever get our business. Why? Too many reasons to list.
Excellent source of accurate information.
Our experience with Matthew Briscoe was simply outstanding. My wife and I were looking to move to Eugene from McMinnville Or and I contacted him looking for listings. Matthew worked with us on a very personal basis and helped us to find and purchase our dream house in just a few days. Matthew is knowledgeable and always available. He would always answer the phone pretty much any time of day or night. It was his local area knowledge and networking that enabled us to purchase our new home. We simp…
Very personable – really works for her clients!
Century Bank have used their (Bill and Rebekah Nelson of R&R Properties of Eugene) Property Management and Real Estate services over the past 18 months to manage and sell other Real Estate owned by the bank. Fifteen months ago we held seven residential properties. As of this date we have none. Until each of the properties was sold, they were professionally managed by the Nelsons’, finding tenants, collecting rents, and managing rental issues. The Nelsons’ were instrumental in the marketing …
After hearing rave reviews about Tyler from a friend, we asked him to help us buy our first home. We are so glad we did! Tyler did an outstanding job. He was hardworking, quick to respond, and worked around our schedule to view houses. Tyler consistently maintained good humor and was an invaluable source of information about the home buying process. He was a good listener and was honest – we truly felt he was looking out for us. Tyler was on top of deadlines, making sure that details were taken …
Bill is one of the premier real estate professionals in the Eugene / Springfield area. We would highly recommend him to anyone in need of exceptional real estate representation.
Bill is a great stand up guy who will never steer you wrong. He will do right by you from day one!
If I recommended R&R Properties a thousand times, it wouldn’t be enough. My husband and I are new parents and first time home buyers. We had absolutely no idea what we were doing, but we were excited and ready to dive headfirst into the home buying process. I don’t know what we would’ve done without Bill. He helped us every step of the way: giving advice, making himself available on our lunch hours or his days off, sending us emails weekly, and basically holding our hands throughout the entire p…
Tyler has great human kindness skills, honesty, kind and does what he says he will. He reminds us of our son.
