Cottage Grove Real Estate

A two-time winner of “The All-America City Award” from the National Civic League, Cottage Grove is located just twenty minutes south of Eugene – Springfield and is home to almost 10,000 residents. Cottage Grove has a rich history, including its Historic Downtown District, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Gold was discovered in the Bohemia Mountains above Cottage Grove in the mid-1800s, and the area’s gold mining history still plays an important role in the community. The Bohemia Gold Mining Museum shares stories through photographs, tools, and other artifacts, while the Bohemia Mining Days festival celebrates the gold mining legacy with living history exhibits, vendors, local entertainers, and a parade.

Known as “The Covered Bridge Capital of the West”, Cottage Grove is home to six covered bridges that draw visitors from all over the country. Each bridge has its own unique story, including Chambers Railroad Bridge, which is the only existing covered railroad bridge west of the Mississippi River and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and Currin Bridge, which spans the Row River and is often used for weddings and special events.

Cottage Grove has been a backdrop in a number of movies over the years, including The General, Animal House, and Stand By Me.

I have to trust someone to work with them, and I trust this team. I have sold two duplexes and a home and bought a duplex and a home through this team in the last two years!
